Le 3 juillet 2006 les Chambres extraordinaires au sein des tribunaux cambodgiens pour la persécution des crimes commis par les Khmers rouges ont été formellement inaugurées. Elles font partie d’une nouvelle génération de cours criminelles judiciaires établies dans des situations de post-conflits et appelées tribunaux internationaux. Cet article passe en revue les avantages et inconvénients de cette Chambre extraordinaire qui pourraient contribuer au succès de ce tribunal "internationalisé". (cli)
