The P.R.I.M.E. Finance Foundation: Dispute Resolution in Global Financial Markets
Traditionnellement, les banques et les institutions financières ont été assez sceptiques envers l'arbitrage et ont préféré les tribunaux étatiques en tant que moyen de résoudre les différends internationaux. Toutefois, il y a eu récemment une acceptation croissante de l'arbitrage. Le 16 janvier 2012, une nouvelle institution arbitrale – Panel of Recognized International Market Experts in Finance (« P.R.I.M.E. Finance ») – a été lancée lors d'une conférence inaugurale tenue au Palais de la Paix à La Haye. P.R.I.M.E. Finance a été créée pour soutenir les systèmes judiciaires en matière de règlement de conflits concernant des transactions financières complexes. (sl)
