Ransomware – A Growing Threat for Law Firms

In recent years, ransomware virus software has become an immediate threat to corporate and individual data files. Hundreds of millions of dollars are lost every year to this malware, and new versions appear frequently, making it possible to bypass antivirus programs. This article aims not only to draw attention to the ransomware phenomenon and provide an action plan for law firms in the event of a cyber-attack, but also to address the Kaspersky antivirus debate in light of recent events in Ukraine.
