Description of Slovene family law
Slovene family law regulates three forms of life union: marriage, extramarital union and (registered) same-sex partnership union. In the present article the author will present the conditions for the valid creation of individual life unions, the rights and responsibilities of the partners for the duration of the union and after its cessation. Since the life unions of the partners are often the framework for parenthood, I will also deal with the relations between parents and children with individual life unions.
