Chatbots such as ChatGPT give healthcare-related advice that can jeopardize patients’ lives. If medical device regulation is not yet adapted for Large Language Models (LLM,) the Swiss legislation on advertising medicinal products could result in the software containing a blocklist with the names of medicinal products and not advising on taking medication.
