Der Beitrag geht von der laufenden Revision des World Anti-Doping Code aus, die bis zum 1. Januar 2015 umgesetzt werden soll. Aus der Perspektive des Gesundheitsrechts zeigen die Autoren heikle Fragen auf, die sich im Zusammenhang mit Dopingkontrollen ergeben, einschliesslich der Tatsache, dass dabei Gesundheitsdaten in zunehmendem Masse erzeugt werden. Der Beitrag untersucht insbesondere den rechtlichen Status von Dopingproben, die Zustimmung der Athleten und deren Zugang zu den Gesundheitsdaten, die Anforderungen denen jede Forschung an den Proben zu genügen hat sowie die Rolle der Ärzte. Die Autoren schlagen Lösungen vor, um den Kampf gegen Doping mit dem Gesundheitsrecht zu versöhnen. (sk)
